This page is to document the scratches and rust and general issues that can be seen on our truck. We have no plan to clean up these things, as we like the fact it looks like a “poor old” truck, not a shiney expensive one. We often park in truck stops, get stopped by police or whatever, and looking like we have no money helps 🙂
Most of the photos on the site show the truck from a distance, and I’ve taken these close ups to show the worst bits, so anyone thinking of buying it can get a feel for it before coming to take a look. I’m sharing the publicly so everyone gets the same story!
Some paint came off the inside of the doors, showing the original green.
Rust spot on the drivers cab, just over the spare wheel.
This is the drivers door lock, the brackets hold on a metal cover that hides the ugly flexible gaiter between the drivers cabin and the camping box.

3 fuel cans, they work fine but one has some small cracks and dripps. When we need them (only twice so far in 2 years) we use that one up first.
This window does not open. The original did, but it broke with it met a branch stronger than it was.
At the top of the door, a tree branch did this.
When driving, the ladder goes on the back of the truck.
Some brake fluid spilled on the fuel tank, and the paint just fell off.
